After a number of dry days here, we are getting cold and rain. Lots of rain. Enough rain that the construction outside the place I'm living has mercifully ceased for at least today, and I would imagine tomorrow too. The calm, instead of the ear splitting sound of cutting corrugated metal siding, is blissful. Normally I would be dismayed by two days of chilly, wet weather—no running!—but owing to the other circumstances, I welcome this rain provided respite.
Plus, this rain will turn all the already greening foliage into a lush wonderland. Hard to argue with that!
