One thing I really enjoyed visiting in Ireland was a ring of standing stones. Given that Marian and I were binge watching Outlander in the evenings, it's hardly any wonder that we did not go into the centre of the ring, nor touch the stones. They did have a certain energy!

God It's Green Here!

As you may have guessed, I am playing a bit of catch up here on Mosaic a Day as I had a hectic schedule of work and play that is finally dwindling. So I am finally posting pieces I created all the way back in September! I created a lot of green pieces in Ireland, which I knew would happen from the moment I landed. Prior to my arrival in Ireland, I was on Santorini, which while beautiful, is pretty dry and barren. So when I got on the bus from the airport enroute to Listowel, and began riding through the country side, my retinas practically exploded. All I could think was "God, it's so green here!"

Pot O' Gold

When I was in Ireland, we were lucky enough to have a week during our artist residency to travel a bit in Kerry. Our first stop was Dingle, where we went on a lovely little tour. Owing to the rather indecisive weather, we were treated to a rainbow when we got to Ventry Bay.  I'm dead certain I could have found the pot of gold at the end of this one.
