I originally planned to go to Egypt in 1997. I never got there. Back then, it was somewhere I had always wanted to go, from back as a fairly young child. To finally go, almost 2 decades "late" as it were, was truly a bucket list item. One of the places I most wanted to see was Karnak Temple in Luxor. It was every bit as good as I imagined.
