I'll be honest, the photo of this one is lousy. I work hard to get good photos, but once in awhile, a piece just doesn't cooperate. The black is in reality a very dark purple, but I cannot tease that out with photo editting. 

Mosaics are intrinsically difficult to photograph, and my jewelry in particular, it seems. Maybe some day I'll manage to take photos that make my pieces look as delightful as they do in real life, but if I had a nickel for every time someone said, "They are even nicer in person...."
