The workshops are held in a covered, outdoor space, and are limited to a small group, so you’ll get lots of individual attention. I’m a well known, experienced mosaic instructor, receiving invitations to teach all over the world, and have been creating mosaics for over 2 decades.
I provide all materials (you only need to bring you tools) and try hard to ensure the stock of materials provides plenty of options for everyone. The Shag Rug/Smalti workshop includes heaps of smalti from four manufacturers. The Precision Mosaic Jewelry has luxury materials including mosaic gold, dichroic glass, semiprecious stones, millefiori, and more.
The workshops are structured to allow for lots of time to explore, avoiding student burn out and fatigue. Part of a destination workshop is to be inspired by your surroundings, to relax into your creativity, and to have time to enjoy the connections you make with your fellow, like minded students.
