Lupins

45mm by 15mm- Mosaic gold in sterling silver

This past summer, I spent time in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, which is never a bad time, and always a great source of future inspiration. Upon seeing the incredible purple lupins at Mount Robson, I knew I had to make a pendant that would be reminiscent of their incredible colour and beauty. Of course, my father spent quite some time trying to convince me that the flowers were in fact purple loosestrife, a noxious weed, but eventually with the help of the internet and my sister, the lupin identification prevailed.
