Up until I became a nomad, I had always lived in a landlocked area of Canada. Sure, we had lovely lakes, but no sea or ocean. I love the sea, however, so one of my favourite parts of the last year is that I have been almost constantly either right on a coastline, or at the very least near one. I have taken excellent advantage of this priviledge by learning to scuba dive and to surf. I am one lucky and grateful woman!
