"Copper Cosine" - SOLD

7" by 6" - Copper, Eco Smalti, Orsoni Smalti, Marble
Okay, this was just pure fun. I've never played with copper stripping, and now I can't wait to discover more of its properties. It actually made these curls just by cutting it, which astounded me, because I had planned to curl the little strips! The copper protrudes about an inch from the board, so I've tiled underneath as well. I have new appreciation for artists like Lynne Chinn who tile inside of something.

Love your work! Such colorful & creative use of materials. Did you place the copper first - how did you adhere the copper to the substrate & the marble (I'm guessing or maybe smalti) tesserae to the copper? Stunning!
