Is this another commercial Holiday?
Mosaica Day is anything but a commercial Holiday. There is no exchanging of gifts. The only gift one receives is the gift of self-fulfillment. A gift that lasts an eternity.

When is Mosaica Day?
Following in the spirit of its loose structure, there is no official date
for Mosaica Day. Since Mosaica Day is more of a state of mind,
you may host a dinner any day of the year. In other words,
Mosaica Day is every day. For no significant reason, the third Saturday in April has been designated as a date to host the Mosaica Day events to celebrate the accomplishments we have made towards improving our communities.

Are there any leaders?
There are no leaders. No one is watching. You are not being judged. This is a grassroots event with a loose structure to allow free thought to flow.

Does Mosaica Day promote the blending of Cultures?
All we are promoting is an opportunity for people within their community, no matter what culture, nationality or race, a chance
to get acquainted. Whatever happens beyond that is up to the individuals.

Must the Mosaica Day meal be a dinner?
The Mosaica Day meal can be a breakfast, a brunch, a lunch or even a picnic.

Why are there inspirational quotes?
Inspirational quotes are confirmations of what we already know. They clarify our thoughts and motivate us to take action. Take JFK's quote, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." Now substitute "country" for one of
the following words that work for you: city, town, community, neighborhood, neighbor, friend or family. That is something we
can all grasp.

 

What can I do to help convey Mosaica Day
to others?
The best way to make people aware of Mosaica Day is to host a dinner. In return all of your guests can host their own dinners and introduce Mosaica Day to new groups of people. This will make Mosaica Day grow at a geometric progression.

Must we follow the agenda for the Mosaica Day
events and projects?
There is no specific agenda. If you feel there is a project that
works for your community then go for it.

What is expected of me as a guest at a Mosaica
Day dinner?
There are no expectations of you at a Mosaica Day dinner.
Just show up, be yourself, and have a good time. You can participate in discussion or just sit back and enjoy the food, music and the meeting of new and interesting people. Please don’t feel any pressure to change the world in one night, unless you must.

As a professional nutrionist I have always wanted to volunteer my time to teach children in the local community good eating habits. Can I do this through your organization?
We are not an organization that teaches nutrition. Our goal is to rasie the consciousness of people like you to act on your positive ideas that can help the local community.
